Prophetic Word for America from God to Diane Epling Given ON 12/26/2023

The Cup of Iniquity Is Full. Repent! If this is not dealt with, the Cup of My Wrath Will Be Poured Out.

When I first received this word from God, I thought it was regarding someone very close to me for whom I had been praying. God reminded me what He said concerning her in prayer: “The cup of iniquity is full. Repent! If this is not dealt with, the cup of My wrath will be poured out.” We had experienced our challenges in the past, but I thought those offenses were over. It took God to show me how wrong I was. The deceit of this person was shocking. She had been speaking one way to my face and another behind my back. My heart was broken. I felt done inside with this person—I just felt done. That’s when I heard God say, “Separate yourself from her.”

The first warning sign God gave me was one day when she was getting ready to leave. I walked her to her car, and when she opened the door, my eyes were drawn to a sign inside her door frame that said “warning.” The “warning” caught my attention, but I had yet to grasp why God had highlighted the sign to me. I briefly pondered the warning as she left, but life’s distractions replaced my questioning thoughts.

The second warning I got happened weeks later when I was shopping at a local store and needed to use the restroom. Inside was a sign above a baby changing table that said, “Warning. Warning. Warning.” I had seen those signs many times before, but this was the first time God highlighted them to me. Could it be that God was trying to get my attention?

The third warning came from a sticker in my car on the driver’s side window that said “warning.” I was so drawn to the word “warning” that I could no longer ignore that God was speaking to me. I began to pray, asking, “God, what is this? What in the world is this warning about?” At first, I thought the warning was about the person who had betrayed our friendship. I was yet to realize the magnitude of God’s warning. As I prayed about the warning, these lyrics from “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” came to me, and I softly sang the words.

Mine eyes have seen the Glory of the coming of the Lord,

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored,

He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword,

His truth is marching on.

I knew then that God’s warning went far beyond the relationship with my friend. He was giving me a prophetic word about the relationship of an entire nation with their God! It was a warning for America. God’s word to America was this: “The cup of iniquity is full. Repent! If this is not dealt with, the cup of My wrath will be poured out.”

God shows us His warnings in His Word. In the Book of Hebrews, God gives six striking warnings, and one in particular confirms this warning to America. Hebrews 10:26-31 TPT, For if we continue to persist in deliberate sin after we have known and received the truth, there is not another sacrifice for sin to be made for us. But this would qualify one for the certain, terrifying expectation of judgment and the raging fire ready to burn up his enemies! Anyone who disobeyed Moses’ law died without mercy on the simple evidence of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you suppose a person deserves to be judged who has contempt for God’s Son, and who scorns the blood of the new covenant that made Him holy, and who mocks the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “I have the right to take revenge and pay them back for their evil!” And also, “The Lord God will judge His own people!” It is the most terrifying thing of all to come under the judgment of the Living God!

Although I had often heard the word “iniquity,” I had never really studied the way it is referred to in the Bible—always assuming it just meant sin. Not so! Let me explain to you about iniquity. It is purposeful, planned, devastating wickedness practiced against God. This beautiful nation of ours—America—that was founded on a covenant made with God has now flung open the devil’s gates to embrace his wicked ways and welcome his devastating deceit. America’s cup of iniquity is full, and unless the people repent, God’s cup of judgment and wrath will be poured out over its people. We are a corrupt land; God’s “terrible swift sword” is about to strike a disobedient nation.

God reminded me of what happened to Ananias when he lied to the Holy Spirit in Acts 5:3-5 NIV. Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.” When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened.

God wasn’t done pouring out His wrath. Next, we come to Ananias’ wife, Sapphira. In Acts 5:9-10 NIV, Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.” At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

Even though God has given me many words in the past, He has never given me a word to be shared with a nation. I am responsible for speaking this urgent word of warning God has given me. It is your responsibility to repent and separate yourself from the iniquity of a nation. We see God’s command on Ezekiel’s life to provide a prophetic warning to the people; it is now up to them to heed God’s warning. Ezekiel 3:17-21 NIV, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for the sin; but you will have saved yourself. “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.’”

Stop accepting the sexual immorality, idolatry, the shedding of innocent blood, and the broken covenants with God by America. WAKE UP AMERICA! We are being deceived by the enemy who is attacking us through social media, entertainment, educational institutions, government—yes, and even in our churches. Repent! Matthew 4:17 ESV, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” God has instructed us to separate ourselves from such iniquity. 2 Corinthians 6:14 NIV, says Do not be yoked with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

For those of you who have never been exposed to God’s full character, you might picture him as this lovely grandfather-type, willing to overlook your willful, stubborn ways. You couldn’t be more mistaken. God is a forgiving God, but He is no pushover. When Jesus returns for God’s people, He will come with an army of warrior angels. Believers will be taken up, and then God’s angels will pour out devastation and destruction on those who chose to rebel against Him. In 1 John 1:9 it says, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Proverbs 28:13 NIV, Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

In Revelation Chapter 16, God shows us the seven bowls of wrath that will be poured over the earth. According to Revelation 9:15, these bowls of wrath are so powerful they will destroy a third of all civilization. The people who carry the mark of the beast and worship Satan will break out in oozing sores. The seas, rivers, and springs will turn to blood and kill everything in the sea. The sun will become so hot it will scorch the people with fire. The people will live in darkness and gnaw their tongues in agony. There will be tremendous earthquakes, lightning, thunder, and huge hailstones that fall from the sky onto the people. There will be a battle in the heavens that has never been seen before, and God will claim victory and justice for all believers.

The Book of Revelation has warned us of all these things, yet we refuse to surrender our hearts to God. Daniel 9:13 NIV says, Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to Your truth. Why? Why have we not done what God has instructed us to do in His Word? God has made it abundantly clear what we are to do. In 2 Corinthians 6:17 NIV, He tells us, “Therefore, come out from them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” God promises in 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV, If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

God cares for us, and He cares for America, but we are suffering the consequences of our broken covenant with Him. I am not alone in speaking God’s words of warning.  Keep reading to see what other prophets of today are speaking about similar words God gave them for our nation and the world.
