Eight Things I Personally Experience from Keeping a Prayer Journal
Prayer journals don’t have to be fancy, formal, or formatted. Their purpose is to help you start a conversation with God. God has given me so many revelations in my prayer journal. Often times, I’ll look back over entries I previously wrote, and I’m amazed at the way God has answered my prayers, gave me direction, and told me of future plans He had for me. Here are a few of the many benefits of keeping a prayer journal.
Keeping a Prayer Journal Helps To…
- Slow down your thoughts and focus on your conversation with God.
- Remember to lift up others’ needs to God in prayer.
- Create a wonderful relationship with God.
- Listen to God’s voice.
- Look back over all God’s answered prayer.
- Remember God’s word and obey His instruction.
- Find joy in each new day.
- Praise God and celebrate His love for you.
