How vital that word “obedience” is to God. If you say you love God but fail to obey Him, you miss out on so much. If I had failed to obey Him, even when His requests seemed so illogical, I would not have recognized and experienced many of the blessings and opportunities God had planned for me. I believe that happens to many believers. We keep praying for God to do something, and He does it, but we don’t recognize His voice or see His miracles. Some Christians believe that miracles were only for Biblical times, but I know better. God loves us as much as He did the disciples, as much as He loved David and Paul. We can all enjoy the miraculous gifts of God, if we believe.
Seek God with all your heart and discover His wonders. Give God your heart, loose yourself from what binds you, and experience the freedom of the Lord. Pray that God will open your heart to be filled with His love and open your eyes and ears to His plan for your life. Whatever your circumstances, if you desire to experience the fullness of God, give Him the fullness of your heart. Then, look out! Be prepared for an incredible journey with God.
As I walk with God each day, there are still times when I feel discouraged and confused. The difference now is that I don’t hold onto all that, and I know that I don’t have to fix it all by myself. I can lay that down and let God handle it. His love sees me through those times. So, if you are in the thick of things, don’t give up. You’re not in it alone.
